| THE LONG ROOM, TRINITY COLLEGE
DUBLIN ::: Trinity College Library is the largest library in Ireland. Its collections of manuscripts and printed books have been built up since the end of the sixteenth century. The books stock is now over four million volumes and there are extensive collections of manuscripts, maps and music. The main chamber of the Old Library, the Long Room, is nearly 65 metres in length, and houses around 200,000 of the Library's oldest books. The Long Room can comfortably accommodate 150 - 200 people for Receptions.
